Ocean Park Redevelopment - Hong Kong

Aconex will provide its online information management service to Ocean Park Corporation’s $715m Ocean Park Master Redevelopment Project in Hong Kong.

Situated on the southern side of Hong Kong Island, Ocean Park is an 870,000m² educational theme park, combining rollercoaster rides and shows with education and conservation programs. More than four million people visit each year, making it one of Asia’s most popular tourist destinations.

The redevelopment – which includes doubling the number of rides and creating additional sea-life and mammal attractions – will position Ocean Park as one of the world’s premier marine-based theme parks. The first phase of construction started in late 2006 and the Park will gradually roll out eight Redevelopment phases over a six-year period, staying open throughout. This will bring the number of attractions from 35 to more than 70, upon completion in 2012.
